Talalay Latex is a natural product derived from the sap from a range of trees. The sap is milked from the tree in a way that doesn't cause it any harm, as the tree will naturally replace any lost sap. This is similar to the way that our bodies replace blood that is lost when we give blood.
Talalay Latex is a natural organic alternative to petrolium based polyurethane foams like Visco Elastic Memory foam, whilst having equally good (if not better) supporting properties.
The main advantage with latex foam over polyeurothane based foams is due to it's very high elasticity. This means that all the tinly bubbles will stretch when flattened, rather than pushing back and causing pressure pints as happens with Reflex foam.

Latex is the coolest of all the types of foam mattress available, and due to the vertical holes through the foam, has very good ventilation.
The Monaco and Vienna models are the only two sided pocket sprung/latex foam mattresses on the market (as far as we know), which means that they will last far longer than any non turn mattress.
